SSC Selection Post Eligibility Criteria 2018

SSC Selection Post Eligibility criteria are divided into three categories. Candidates who are interested in filling the online application are highly advised to check the educational qualification, Nationality, and age limit before applying. If any applicant failed to fulfill the given below eligibility criteria will be not be considered and his/her form will be rejected/canceled.

1. Nationality/ Citizenship

  • Candidate must be either a citizen of India/Nepal/Bhutan.
  • Candidates must be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • Candidates must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Zanzibar and Tanganyika), Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit

Candidates must be 18-30 years as on 01.08.2018

How to Apply for SSC Selection Post 2018?

  • Before applying candidates should read the instructions very carefully.
  • Go to>Apply>Others.
  • In the Registration Part, candidates will have to fill in basic information relating to them like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, permanent address, category, etc.
  • Candidate must provide all the required details that are marked with * (asterik) sign.
  • On submission of the Registration Form, a page with Registration ID and password will appear.. Note it down safely (will be used later anything regarding changes or when downloading admit card).
  • After submission of the Registration Form, candidate must upload his/ her latest colour photograph of the stipulated size and signature. (size of the signature file must be more than 1 KB and less than 12 KB and the photograph’s file must be more than 4 KB and less than 20 KB).
  • Application form without photograph/ signature or with Blurred photograph/signature or incomplete in any manner will be rejected.
  • The Registration becomes complete only after the photograph and signature are uploaded by the candidate.
  • After completing the above steps, candidates should now take out a print out of the filled application.

SSC Selection Post Application Fee

  • Candidates are required to make the payment of 100/- only through Challan of SBI, at the designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank upto 03.10.2018 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 5.00 PM of 05.10.2018.
  • After your successful payment, your application will be complete and will be accepted provisionally.

Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, such applications which remain incomplete due to non-receipt of the fee will be summarily rejected/ canceled.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Recruitment for the SSC Selection Posts will be made through Written Examination in Computer Based Mode consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.

After the Computer Based Examination, Tentative Answer Keys will be uploaded on the official website for a specific period (minimum three days) to call for challenges from the candidates, if any, on payment of prescribed fee.
