SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2018

SSC MTS Eligibility criteria are divided into three criteria. Interested candidates who want to fill the online application are highly advised to check the educational qualification, Nationality, and age limit before applying. If any applicant failed to fulfill the given below eligibility criteria will be not be considered and his/her form will be rejected/canceled.

1. Nationality/ Citizenship

  • Candidate must be either a citizen of India/Nepal/Bhutan.
  • Candidates must be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • Candidates must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Zanzibar and Tanganyika), Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit

Candidates must be 18-25 years as on 01.08.2018 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2000.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

To apply for the post of (Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, and Mali) SSC MTS 2018, Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination OR equivalent from a recognized Board. And Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification till now but will acquire documentary evidence from the Board/University as on 01.08.2018 will also be eligible.

SSC MTS Application Form 2018

How to Apply for SSC MTS 2018?

  • Candidate should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options.
  • Go to http://www.ssc.nic.in>Apply>MTS.
  • Candidates should now move to the Registration Part and fill the online application form with basic information like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, permanent address, category, etc.
  • Click on submit button and candidates will be asked to check the details and make any correction in the registration (if required)
  • After the submission of the Application Form, a page with Registration ID and password will appear. Note it down safely (will be used later anything regarding changes or when downloading admit card).
  • Now candidates are required to pay the fee and upload their latest color signature and photograph. The Signature and photograph must be uploaded in jpg format. The Photographs must be more than 30 kb and less than 50 kb with a resolution of 100-pixel width and 120-pixel height. The digital size of the signature file must be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb with a resolution of 140-pixel width by 60-pixel height.
  • The application form with Blurred photograph/signature or without photograph/signature or incomplete in any manner will summarily be rejected.
  • After completing the above steps, candidates should now take out a print out of the filled application.

SSC MTS Application Fee

  • Candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 100/- during filling the online application.
  • The candidates may submit the fee through State Bank of India Challan, generated online, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.
  • The last to date submit online application fee is 3rd December 2018 (5.00PM).
  • After your successful payment, your application will be complete and will be accepted provisionally.

All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the application fee, as per extant government orders.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

SSC MTS 2018 Admit Card

All the Candidates who have successfully submitted their form for the Staff Selection Commission MTS 2018 will be able to download the SSC MTS Hall Ticket/admit card/call letter prior to 10-15 days before commencement of the exam (we will update the link here). SSC MTS Exam Pattern

Every year the commission conducts the SSC MTS Exam in 2 tiers for various posts to recruit candidates. The Paper I exam will be an online computer based exam which is of Objective MCQ type with 150 question in total and the full marks will be 150 marks whereas the Paper II exam will a pen paper descriptive type (subjective) and the maximum marks will be 50.

SSC MTS Paper I (Computer Based) Examination Details

SSC MTS Paper I will be a Computer Based Examination that will be a total of 150 marks with 25 questions in the first two section and 50 question in the next two. The entire paper will consist of objective multiple choice question. The Paper I examination will be available in English or any other languages listed in the notification. SSC MTS 2018 Selection Process

The selection process of SSC MTS Selection Procedure 2018 is very simple, On the basis of their performance in Paper-I candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II.
