The SSC GD Constable Syllabus of tier I exam consist of 100 question (25 each section) with 100 marks in total (25 each section) and the exam is divided into 4 categories. General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analytical aptitude and distinguish patterns and ability to observe will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This includes questions on analogies, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, similarities and differences, observation, relationship concepts, visual memory, discrimination, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding, and decoding, etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness: In this section, the questions will test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Geography, Culture, Indian Constitution, Economic Scene, General Polity, and Scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Elementary Mathematics: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Computation of Whole Numbers, Number Systems, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Percentages, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Ratio and Time, etc.
English/ Hindi: This section will test the Candidates ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension.
SSC GD Constable Tier-II Examination
The Tier-II examination is basically divided into 2 categories which are Physical Efficiency Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). We have discussed the Detailed SSC GD Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern.
