SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2018

SSC CPO Eligibility criteria 2018 is divided into 2 categories. Every candidate must fulfill all the mentioned below eligibility criteria like Nationality, educational qualification, and age limit. So, it is highly advised to check every criterion before filling the online application. 1. Nationality/ Citizenship

  • Candidate must be either a citizen of India/Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • Candidates must be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • Candidates must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Zanzibar and Tanganyika), Zaire, Ethiopia,  Zambia, Malawi, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit

Candidates must be 20-25 years as on 01.08.2018 i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.1998 are eligible.

SSC CPO Educational Qualification

To apply for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Assistant Sub Inspector of SSC CPO 2018, Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent to meet the SSC CPO Educational Qualification 2018. Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification as on 01-08-2018 will not be eligible.

SSC CPO Application Form 2018

SSC CPO 2018 online Application Form filling process has been started from 3rd March 2018. Candidates who are interested in filling the online application form and fulfill all the required criteria can visit the official website and continue with the further process of filling the online application/registration form. How to Apply for SSC CPO 2018?

  • Candidate should read the read the instruction given in the Notice carefully before filling up the application form.
  • Go to http://www.ssc.nic.in>Apply>CAPF.
  • In Part I registration, the candidate will have to fill basic information like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, permanent address, category, etc. On submission of details, candidates shall be prompted to check the details and make, corrections, if any, before submitting the Form.
  • Candidate should provide all the required details while filling up the Online Registration/ Application Forms. Mandatory fields are marked with * (asterisk) sign.
  • On submission of the Registration Form, Registration ID and password will be provided.. Note it down safely (will be used later anything regarding changes or when downloading admit card).
  • Now candidates should upload their latest colour photograph and signature. The digital size of the photograph must be more than 4 KB and less than 20 KB. and the signature must be more than 1 KB and less than 12 KB. The signature and photograph must be uploaded in JPG/ JPEG format.
  • Now candidates are required to upload a recently taken scanned photograph in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than12 kb and greater than 4 kb and of resolution 100-pixel widths by 120 pixels height.
  • The Registration becomes complete only after the photograph and signature are uploaded by the candidate.
  • Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form once submitted will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Candidates can now take out a print out of the filled application.

SSC CPO Application Fee

  • Candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). (either by cash or card). Candidates who are exempted from fee payment are not required to pay the fee.
  • The fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro Credit/ Debit cards
  • Candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI may make the payment to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 05.04.2018 provided the challan has been generated by them before 5.00 PM of 02.04.2018
  • On successful fee payment, your application will be complete.

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

SSC CPO 2018 Admit Card

The commission will release the SSC CPO 2018 Admit Card on the official website before 10 to 15 days of examination. Those candidates who have applied for SSC CPO REcruitment 2018 can download their hall ticket/admit card/call letter by entering the registration number, date of birth and password. SSC CPO Exam Pattern

SSC CPO Exam 2018 will be conducted in 3 phases. It will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). SSC CPO Paper I is a multiple choice objective type Examination which is divided into four categories – General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension and total marks will be 200. SSC CPO 2018 Selection Process

SSC CPO Selection Procedure 2018 is very easy, Basis of their performance in Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in PET/ PST Examination. After that candidates who qualified in PET/ PST Examination will be allowed to appear in Paper-II Examination. PET/ PST are mandatory but qualifying in nature. And based of the performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination. Finally, the selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks scored by candidates in Paper-I+Paper-II. Based on the cut off of marks of SSC CPO 2018 of paper I and paper II candidates will be called for the medical test and document verification.
