SSC CGL Cut Off 2018: Check Out Previous Year & Expected Cutoff

SSC CGL Cutoff 2018: The commission will release the SSC CGL cut off 2018 separately for Tier 1, 2, 3, 4 and final allotment. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that every candidate have to secure to qualify the next stages of the selection process. Based on the cutoff of Tier 1, candidates will be shortlisted for SSC CGL Tier 2. And based on the SSC CGL Tier 3 exam, SSC CGL Cut off Tier I and Tier II will be decided. And finally, Candidates who secure the cutoff marks in Tier III will be then called for Skill Tests and Document verification.

SSC CGL 2018 cutoff of Tier I and II will be announced after the declaration of the result. The SSC CGL Tier 4 Cut off will be decided on the percentage of mistakes in Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Skill Test (DEST). Selection Process of SSC CGL 2018

  • Based on the marks scored in Tier-I CBE, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, for Tier-II Examination. The Commission may fix separate cut-offs for Paper-III (i.e. for the post of JSO), Paper-IV (i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper-I+Paper-II (all other posts).
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier-III (Descriptive Paper) based on the performance in Tier-I and Tier-II Examinations. The Commission may fix minimum qualifying marks in each Paper of Tier-II.
  • The candidates who will clear the cutoff and secure the minimum marks, as fixed by the Commission, in Tier-III Examination will be called for Skill Tests and (DV)Document Verification.
  • Based on the performance in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III Examinations, candidates will be shortlisted to appear in Document Verification and Skill Tests i.e. Skill Test and (CPT) Computer Proficiency Test.
  • The Final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of candidates in Tier-1, Tier 2 and Tier-3 Examinations. Final selection of candidates, in each category, will be decided on the basis of aggregate marks scored by them in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III examinations and preference of posts chosen by them.
