About: Union Public Service Commission aka UPSC which conducts NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (National Academy) is a national level entrance exam. Every year this exam this exam is taken twice a year, one in the month of April and another in November. Candidates who passed class 12th in 10+2 Pattern can fill the NDA Application Form 2019.
NDA Selection Process 2019
The overall selection process is divided into 2 stages:
- Written Examination (Pen and Paper)
- Interview Round (SSB)
The written offline exam is consists of two topics – Mathematics and General Ability Test (English + General knowledge) and the total time duration for each subject are 2 ½ Hours and maximum marks for Mathematics is 300 & General Ability Test is 600. All the questions are of objective type (MCQ). However, the Maths and GAT papers will be available in both Hindi and English languages.

SSB Interview Round
This round is divided into two stages where candidates have to give Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
All the candidates will be put to stage-one test on fthe irst day of reporting at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards. Only those candidates who qualify at stage one will be admitted to the second stage.
Those candidates who will qualify stage II will be required to submit the following documents (Original Certificates along with one photocopy of each)
- Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth
- 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent
- Category or Cast certificate (SC, ST, OBC etc).
- Identity/Address Proof

However, the final allocation/selection for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be decided on the basis of the number of vacancies available subject to eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference of the candidates.
