HTET Notification 2018

HTET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check educational qualification and details. If any applicant failed to fulfill the given below eligibility criteria he/she will be not be considered and the form will be rejected/canceled.

Level I PRT Teacher (Class I-IV)

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Passed or appearing in ?nal year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education / B.E.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education / B.E.Ed.
  • Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor Degree in Any Stream and Passed / Special Education / B.E.Ed

Level II TGT Teacher (Class VI to VIII)

  • B. Degree in Any subject with 50% Marks and 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • B. Degree with 50% Marks and B.Ed / Special B.Ed Degree OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% Marks and 4 Year BA B.Ed / B.Com B.Ed Degree.

Level III PGT Teacher

  • Master Degree with 50% Marks in Concerned Subject and B.Ed Degree.

HTET Application Form 2018

HTET 2018 online application form is now available. Candidates who are interested can fill the application form by visiting the official website of Board of Second Education, Haryana (www.hteonline.com) before 30/11/2018 (third week of November 2018). How to Apply?

  • Visit the official website http://htetonline.com and click on the HTET apply online link.
  • Now candidate should enter his/her details i.e. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and Date of Birth as per Class 10 /secondary certificate.
  • S ubmitting Identification Proof & NUMBER is mandatory while applying for Online application.
  • Now candidates are required to pay the application fee and upload their latest color Thum impression (10kb to 30 kb), signature(10 kb to 20 kb) and photograph (20kb to 50 kb).
  • The candidate should mention their own E-Mail id and mobile number while submitting their form as the SMS alerts will be sent to their registered mobile number and E-Mail id.
  • Now candidates can submit the form and take a print out of the filled application.

HTET Exam Pattern

There will be only one paper for the level 1, 2 and 3. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives options out of which one answer will be correct.

HTET Admit Card 2018

The HTET admit card for Level 1, 2 & 3 will be available from 20th December 2018. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website by entering their registration number and your date of birth. It is recommended to download the admit and take a print out. Candidates who will not carry candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall.

HTET Selection Procedure

Candidates Selection process will be based on the performance in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test written examination followed by the Personal Interview round conducted by Haryana State Government.

HTET Result

What is HTET?

HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) to recruit school teachers in different categories such as Primary (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). HTET is one of the secure and wonderful job opportunity for holding the Haryana Government careers. Earlier in 2009, it was called as State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) but after the RTE Act, 2009 issuance of notification by the NCTE in the year 2011, this examination was renamed as Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. This test is conducted in three different categories:

  • Level I: who intends to be a Primary Teacher for classes I to V
  • Level II: who intends to be a TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher for classes VI to VIII
  • Level III: who intends to be a (Post Graduate Teacher) PGT
