CLAT Admission

About: CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test which is mainly conducted by National-Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO) to get admissions into various government & private law colleges across the country. CLAT offers various undergraduate law programmes such as B.A LL.B, B.Sc LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, and B.Com LL.B. The CLAT 2019 Exam Date is decided on 12th May 2019.

CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

For UG (Undergraduate) Programme (Five Year Integrated Law Degree (Hon’s)

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 % percentage in case of candidates belonging to OBC/unreserved/Specially Abled Persons/NRI/NRI Sponsored categories
  • For SC/ST categories 40 % percentage is required.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2019 are also eligible to apply.

For PG (Postgraduate) Programme (One Year LL.M. Degree)

Educational Qualification

  • An LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% percentage for unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons/NRI/NRI Sponsored
  • 50% percent for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2019 are eligible.

Age Limit

There will be no upper age limit for UG/PG Programme in CLAT 2019.

CLAT 2019 Application Form

Candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria can apply online for CLAT 2019. The registration form for CLAT 2010 shall be filled Online only. The online application form can be accessed from the CLAT-2019 official website @ https://clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in.

Application Fee/Previous Years Question Papers’ Fee

  • Application fees can be paid only online.
  • For General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI: Rs.4,000/-
  • For SC/ST/BPL category candidates: Rs.3,500/-
  • The candidates themselves will have to bear the bank transaction charges for remitting the fee online. The actual bank transaction charges will be displayed in the payment gateway page after you choose the mode of payment.
  • Application Fees is non-refundable.

CLAT 2019 Exam Pattern

CLAT 2019 is an online mode examination where all questions are MCQ Type, with total 200 questions and total exam duration is 2 Hours. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks each will be deducted and each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.

CLAT Syllabus 2019

CLAT 2019 Mock Test

CLAT 2019 Mock Test will be announced officially by National Law University Odisha, Cuttack by the third week of April 2019. Candidates who have filled the application form can access the Mock Test. This mock test follows the exact pattern, such as – type of questions asked, marking scheme and other details. This CLAT Mock Test is completely free of cost.

CLAT 2019 Admit Card

Candidates who have filled the CLAT Application form and which are provisionally accepted by the board will be issued an admit card. Candidates can download their admit cards from April 20, 2019 (Tentative). Download CLAT Admit Card.

CLAT 2019 Answer Key

Candidates who have appeared in the examination can download the answer key through online mode only. CLAT Answer Key is very important for candidates because they can verify all the answers. The board will release the answer key on 15 May 2019 (Tentative).

CLAT 2019 Result

Candidates can check and download the CLAT Result 2019 from the official website through online mode. NLUO Cuttack will declare the result tentatively on 31 May 2019. After downloading the result candidates can be sure whether they are selected for next rounds or not.

CLAT 2019 Cutoff

With the release of CLAT Result, the board will announce the CLAT Cutoff as well. The cutoff is the minimum marks that every candidate must secure in order to get called for Counselling and further rounds. Check CLAT 2019 Cutoff

CLAT 2019 Counselling

Candidates who have secured the minimum cutoff and called for COunselling rounds can register themselves through online mode @ https://clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in.
